1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Wells Engineering and Fabrication Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales and based in Chesterfield. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services
Wells Engineering and Fabrication Ltd provides fabrication, welding, and general engineering services to both commercial and private clients. All work will be carried out with reasonable care, skill, and in accordance with agreed specifications.

3. Quotations

  • All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time.

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Any additional work or variation from the original scope may result in additional charges.

4. Orders and Acceptance
A contract is formed once a quotation has been accepted in writing (including email or message confirmation). By accepting a quote, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices will be agreed prior to commencement of work.

  • Payment terms will be specified on the invoice.

  • We reserve the right to request a deposit before starting work.

  • Late payments may be subject to interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Materials

  • Unless otherwise agreed, materials will be sourced by Wells Engineering and Fabrication Ltd.

  • Where clients supply materials, we accept no responsibility for defects, suitability, or performance.

7. Lead Times and Delivery

  • Estimated lead times are provided as guidance only.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including supplier delays or unforeseen technical issues.

8. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure:

  • Accurate specifications and requirements are provided

  • Safe and reasonable access to the work site (if applicable)

  • Any necessary permissions or approvals are obtained

9. Liability

  • We will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.

  • Work already completed and materials purchased will be chargeable.

  • Deposits may be non-refundable depending on costs incurred.

11. Warranty
We warrant that all work will be carried out to a professional standard. Any defects must be reported within a reasonable timeframe, and we will assess and rectify where appropriate.

12. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, and specifications remain the property of Wells Engineering and Fabrication Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.

13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, supply chain disruptions, or labour shortages.

14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
